Weekend Festivities! :)

This last weekend we went with my in-laws to Vernal! haha I know y'all are probably thinking what on earth do you do in Vernal, UT?? Well let me tell you, we had a blast!!! :) 

We actually went to go to the temple! (seriously such a beautiful temple!) 
So of course the first thing we had to do was find the temple! 

Isn't it sooo pretty!!! It was originally a Tabernacle in Vernal! I love it!! 

Since we got there late on Friday night we didn't actually go into the temple until Saturday morning! 

 


















Then we ate lunch at a YUMMY local place before going on a fun adventure...
We went to the McConkie Farm House (or something like that) to go on a small hike and look at some Petroglyphs. Well small hike turned into long hike (I am NOT a hiker) but it was definitely a fun adventure!!! 

This was the end of the small hike, but we had to see more! 

Yes, we hiked all the way around these pretty rocks... 

And for those of you who don't know what Petroglyphs are (I had NO idea) here you are... 

Does anyone else see a fat penguin here???

and of course had to get a picture of the twins!! 

We had to celebrate the beautiful scenery and getting to the end of the trail!!

After our hike, we decided it was nap time!!! :) then dinner then bed! haha
The hike kind of wore us out!

This is my "awwwww do we really have to go back to reality???" smile...

So grateful we were able to go and have such a wonderful weekend!! I am soooo grateful for my in-laws and for the beauty and peace of the temple!!! I love the Gospel!!
