Teething x4

Sophie is currently getting 4 teeth... yep that's right F O U R teeth... at the same time! Now generally speaking Soph is a very happy teether. When she got her bottom teeth, they kind of just appeared! She had a snotty nose and that was the ONLY indication she was getting teeth. Those two came at the same time. So I wasn't surprised to see her top teeth coming in together as well! I was, however, throughly shocked (when I finally got her to open her mouth) to see 4 little teeth blisters on the top of her mouth :( Poor baby.
I also cannot believe my baby is 8 months old. Time is literally flying! Sometimes I want time to go really fast, but most of the time I wish it would slow way down!
This teething thing is throwing us. Sophie is SUPER independent. (Which we love and are kind of sad about at the same time). I mean by 3 months old she was putting herself to sleep, and sleeping through the night. We have nothing to complain about.
We've had some crazy circumstances the last few months and I think that, on top of these 4 teeth, is stressing our Sophie out a little bit. She has been overwhelming clingy the last few days, therefore I have gotten almost nothing done. The one perk, honestly the BEST perk is that every once in a while, for a very brief moment, my independent, anti-snuggler will lay her head on my chest, or shoulder and give me the sweetest "loves". They literally last for about 1.3 seconds, but I will gladly take them!!! I definitely hope these sweet little "loves" continue after our lives settle and her teeth come in!
Here to hoping these teeth come soon!
and to hoping the "loves" keep coming!
and to my amazing husband for his never-ending patience with me! :)

She is currently OBSESSED with her reflection... my little cheeseball ;)

a little photo shoot...

This year has not gone AT ALL how we planned, honestly pretty much since December 3rd things haven't gone the way we thought they would. I know life happens, and I'm honestly not complaining. But because we've pretty much been humbled down to the core, we have been laying pretty low around here.
The other day Soph was being an absolute cheeseball... that girl seriously cracks me up! So we pulled out the camera.... hehe she is FINALLY started to smile for pictures, although I think the actually camera freaks her out a little bit. If you put her in front of a mirror, (or a selfie), she gets super excited and its the cutest thing ever! :)
Anywhoodle, I am super grateful for this little family of mine! Together truly is the best place to be! :)

this girl LOVES her blanket :)

Also when did my baby get so big???? I cannot believe how quickly time is going! Gosh I love this family of mine!
