And the countdown begins....

Any day, any day, any day!! Thanks what I keep telling myself!!! Come on baby we are sooo ready to meet you!!! :) 

This was a lot of weeks ago, I'm a lot bigger now :)

How far along: 38 weeks

Baby Size: Huge! hehe A Pumpkin (18.9-20.9 Inches (or a lot more) and probably around 7.5 lbs

Maternity Clothes: Pretty much nothing fits anymore. Sorry Tyler :) I pretty much live in sweats (or no pants) and the 2 huge t-shirts we own. 

Sleep: is it even a real thing?? I'm pretty sure I get all of 2 hours of sleep a night, and maybe 2 more hours a day in naps. 

Movement: We've always had a mellow little one, and now that there is literally no more room in there baby is even more mellow, but still loves his/her daddy, and we get a couple good rolls a day! 

Weight Gain: a lot, baby has grown a lot, and therefore I have grown! hehe Tyler and I pretty much weigh the same!

Cravings: None! but I cannot get my mouth cold enough (strange I know) I pretty much always have a popsicle, otterpop, or ice around!! 

Aversions: raw meat

Best moment of the week: We are making progress!! I was dilated to a 1cm and about 25% effaced at our appointment on Tuesday! Hoping for more progression!! :) Also, baby likes to hear daddy play the piano, it's kind of fun!! :) We also got to talk to my brother on Mother's day, and finally have a release date and time for when he come home!! Wooooo!!! He still doesn't know that baby is coming, and so he's in for quite a shock. He is a little suspicious, so hoping we can hold out for a little while longer!! :) 

What I'm feeling: exhaustion! haha I've heard about this "nesting instinct"... yeah not happening here. I am also feeling super grateful for my sweet husband! He works extra hard, and has been more than patient with me and my absolute lack of energy! He finds little ways to help me get stuff done, as well as motivate me to do something small everyday! It's fun to watch him love on this little one! He is going to be the best daddy!!

Mother's Day 2015

I'm not a big celebrator (is that how you spell that??) of things. I like quiet, simple, and not a lot of attention! But not everybody feels that way, and there are definitely some people I feel deserve to be celebrated! So while the world hypes up every holiday till it's almost ridiculous, I'd like to give a quiet thank you to some amazing women who have influenced my life! 

So thank you to the women who taught me to love, 
thank you to the ones who showed me what it means to serve,
thank you to the women who accepted me for me, 
thank you to the women who showed me what selflessness is, 
thank you to the women who made an effort, 
thank you to the ones who never stopped caring, 
thank you to the women who gave hugs and listened, 
thank you to the women who never gave up hope,
thank you to the ones who taught me to laugh, 
thank you to the women who showed me how to respect, 
thank you to the women who supported and loved unconditionally,
thank you to the ones who showed me different ways to be a mother, 
thank you to all the women who sacrifice everyday in more ways than I can count, 
thank you to the women who lead by example, 
thank you to the ones who share their experiences, 

but most importantly thank you to the woman who raised me, who listens, loves, accepts, supports, leads, sacrifices, advises, teaches, prays, strives, and offers friendship. I love you momma!
