Looking back on 2017

Hello little blog, it has been awhile.... whoops. Well 2017 has been real good to us, and we are happily and excitedly entering 2018!

We tackled our front room/entry way (guys there was literally FELT wallpaper!)

Bought 10 new baby chicks :) 

Had lots of visitors!! (we love family visits)

Ty and Soph went on their first father/daughter trip! 

Lainey-bug joined our family! :) 

Birthday/Anniversary Celebrations with family (everyone was here for Lainey's blessing)

4th of July and the cutest soda shop in Waxahachie

Spent a day jet skiing at the lake in AZ

Tyler was tarzan for Halloween (I swear he gets braver and less dressed every year)

Our first family trip (on our own) to San Diego!! (seriously plotting to do it again)

Flew alone with 2 kids for the first time! 

Thanksgiving in AZ! 

Started laundry room/pantry switch renovation! 

Christmas at our little home!

Spoiled each other a little for Christmas this year... not the norm for us but kind of fun! 

Our first New Years just us! 

Looking back at 2016

What a year this has been!!! We've been richly blessed, and grown so much this year!! Bring it on 2017!!! 

Our first home purchase fell through the day we were suppose to sign

I had to get my gall bladder removed (definitely unexpected)

Bought our first home!!! 

Went to Waco and only ate lunch [with my grandparents (we are working on getting back!) ]

Spent a fun weekend in San Antonio

Tyler was put in as Young Men's president 

Sophie turned 1!! 

Went zip lining for the first time

Sophie started walking

Soph went to Lava Hot Springs for the first time 

Found out baby #2 would be joining our family

Tyler went on 2 fun business trips (NYC and San Diego) 

Spent a week with the McEwen twinners! (Sophie Loves her babies) 

Ripped out and reconstructed our closet! 

Hosted our first Thanksgiving! 

Drove 15 hours overnight to AZ. 

Bought our first minivan 🙈

Enjoyed my brother's wedding! 

Laughed, cried, grew, learned, joked, prayed, and fell even more in love!

Whoops, it's been awhile! Instead of trying to update y'all on the last 6 months of our lives, I'll just start from now! :) 
We finally got some family pictures! :) haha...well sort of... either way, enjoy!

She was way more interested in the candle than the cake! 

Ty took the candle away and Soph did not like that! So all
the kids came to help her eat her cake!
